Sidney M., Class of 2014, Attended Wellesley College

Going to school at Concordia could be challenging at times, but I highly value the education that I received there and wouldn't trade it for an easier academic experience. Because I was pushed in high school, my transition to college has been very easy despite the fact that I go to a demanding college. I especially appreciate how well Concordia prepared me for college-level writing, research, and time management.

Our Curriculum and Teaching Approach

At Concordia, we seek out ways to foster deeper learning, a type of processing and learning marked by a student’s ability to transfer what they have learned to new situations.

As a coeducational day school, Concordia serves international families that are culturally diverse, achievement-oriented, and highly mobile who desire an American college
preparatory education.

Our students will become:
  • Insightful Learners
  • Effective Communicators
  • Reflective Spiritual Beings
  • Active Global Citizens
  • Principle-centred Leaders and
  • Team Members

Our Whole Child Approach

From sports tournaments and fine arts performances to service and after-school activities, the variety of experiences Concordia provides its students allows them to develop as well-rounded people. We believe that balance is integral to success—not only in school but in life. Therefore, our holistic philosophy is intentional from early childhood to high school.

We encourage students to find balance and support them in their pursuit of personal excellence. As a result, Concordia students take away the experience of having tried many things, gaining mastery as they delve deeper into a subject or activity, and building confidence in their ability to adapt and learn new skills along the way.
